Basic Info
Name:elizabethtastic
Location:United States
Bio
As you can tell by my username, my name is Elizabeth.

I am many things: singer, actress, history geek, bookworm, writer---most importantly, a dreamer. Trust me, I have a habit of staring off into space during class because although my body is in a desk, my head is somewhere else.

Here are some basics: I love books, both history and historical fiction, music, movies, and theater. They're the top five loves of my life, and will always remain so.

Basically, I won't add you to my f-list unless you tell me where you found my lj. And even then, I won't add you unless we have a few things in common. Please don't take this the wrong way; I love meeting new people and am a very tolerant person. But most people are friends because they have things in common, and I would like the same thing to be true of me. Thanks, loves. :)

Now, here are some interests:

Fave books: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Holes, The Giver, The Da Vinci Code, To Kill A Mockingbird, Number the Stars, Pride and Prejudice, Daniel's Story, Catherine, Called Birdie, The Color of Water, The Children of the River, Once Upon A Marigold, Twilight, The Whale Rider, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, Outlander, numerous history bios, among many others.

Fave authors: William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Louisa May Alcott, Edgar Allan Poe, Harper Lee, J.K. Rowling, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Anne Frank, Lemony Snicket, Jean Plaidy, and Lois Lowry.

Fave movie: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Indiana Jones (1,3,&4), The Mummy (1-3), Night at the Museum (1&2), The Secret of Roan Inish, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, King Solomon's Mines, The Day After Tomorrow, You've Got Mail, The Dark Knight, Stardust, Pride and Prejudice, The Man in the Iron Mask, Transformers, Dances With Wolves, It's A Wonderful Life, National Treasure (1&2), 300, Cromwell, The Princess Bride, Jumanji, Ben-Hur, The Quiet Man, Forrest Gump, Amadeus, Holes, Stand By Me, A Knight's Tale, Finding Neverland, The Prince of Egypt, and MANY, MANY MORE!!!

Fave musicals: 1776, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mamma Mia, Les Miserables, Hairspray, The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Sweeney Todd, Fiddler on the Roof, The King and I, Rent, Aida, The Music Man, Wicked, Oklahoma, and Chicago.

Fave T.V. shows: Law and Order: CI and SVU, Family Guy, Mythbusters, NCIS, House, Merlin, Royal Pains, South Park, Glee, Community and The Office.

I believe that guys who play the piano are sexy. Elton John and Billy Joel have and never will sound alike (one is American, the other British). Disney movies own everyone's soul. The Beatles are THE band of all time and you'd damn well remember that. I'm in love with too many guys for my own good. Writing and music are a reflection of self. The little things in life always tend to make me happy, such as seeing one of various man-whores on T.V.

Reading is what I do in my spare time. Writing stories is my sanctuary. Music has and always will own the very depths of my soul. Singing is what I do when I think no one hears me. And guess what? It works. Go figure.

And what am I exactly? A crazy girl who resides in a small city who prefers to live in a world of dreams and fantasies. And I'm damn proud of it, babes!

I'm an irredeemably eejitous, liberal, not-too-generous, not-too-selfish, relatively well adjusted human being!
See how compatible you are with me!

Elizabethtastic is seventeen years old and is a senior in high school, though she has been told by some that she acts older than that. She can be recognized as that brown eyed girl with her nose in a book and her head in the sky. She likes to sing and loves music of all kinds. She also loves to act, preferably in plays, but it is only a hobby. She hates people who complain all the time, being lonely, and authors who use run-on sentences. She likes movies the most, and Christmas and Halloween are her favorite holidays. She loves her family and her friends with all the love her heart can give. She also has a strong personal faith.
Strengths: Easily pleased. Superb speller. Has an excellent knowledge of history. Can speak in numerous different accents. Is a mezzo soprano. Has a wide vocabulary and uses it as much she can. Very easy with meeting new people. Has an excellent ryhthmn for dancing.
Weaknesses: Sometimes lacks maturity. Has a tendency to have a dirty mind. Daydreams maybe a little TOO much. Can be quite clumsy. Has a terrible habit of procrastination. Worries a little too much over what people think of her. Is a horrible math student. Cannot see over long distances.
Special Skills: Has an excellent sense of smell and hearing (despite what her parents might say). Has a retentive memory.
Weapons: Quick mind, long nails, sharp tongue, lovely singing voice, and fantastic reflexes.
Quote: "You are unique. In all the history of the world, there is no one quite like you." - Barbara Smallwood

From Harry Potter Astrology:
LIBRA
(September 23 - October 22)
the Scales of Justice. Cardinal, air, yang - planetary ruler: Venus. Keywords: "I BALANCE"

Libra is the seventh sign of the zodiac and governs the kidneys, lower back, and buttocks. Positive traits include a rational, logical mind, a fine sense of aesthetics, diplomatic aplomb, good taste, charm, skill with words, intelligence, an innate sense of fairness and justice, and exceptional beauty. Negative characteristics include indecisiveness, excessive dependence on other people, conformist tendencies, manic depression, extravagance, and manipulation.

Ravenclaw

All Ravenclaws are intellectual, but Ravenclaw Libras have their heads in the clouds more than most (Pisces Ravenclaws may have them beat, but not by much). They are romantic and idealistic, and prefer to live in the world of pure theory rather than in the messy world of action. While social and pleasant, they are still quiet and shy, and rarely make the first move when in a group of people. In the classroom, they tend to wait to be called on, or raise their hands when they are sure that no one else knows the answer, but they do tend to be the teacher's pet on a fairly regular basis. It's hard to hate them for this, because they are so pleasant to everybody. Ravenclaw Libras are the most speculative (and indecisive) of all Libras, because they have the intellectual capacity to explore all ramifications of every action and reaction.

Well, check that out! That sounds like me!
